The 2025 season has come to a close with the playing of the state finals on Friday June 20th and Saturday June 21st.   All four classes played their state finals at Indianapolis' Victory Field the home of the Indianapolis Indians.

 

In Class 4A:  Valparaiso beat Evansville North 5-0 to claim their first state championship in baseball.  Winning pitcher was Caden Crowell who went 7 innings giving up 2 hits and striking out 8.  Crowell also was 4-4 at the plate.

In Class 3A:  Andrean captured another state championship under Dave Phiskur by beating the Jasper Wildcats 4-3 in a thrilling come from behind win.  Jasper had the bases loaded in the bottom of the 7th with a chance to win the game.

In Class 2A:  Boone Grove won the state championship with a 6-1 win over Evansville Mater Dei.  Mater Dei held the early 1-0 lead, but could never expand on that lead.  Seth Pitcock when 7 innings for the win giving up 3 hits and only 1 run striking out 6.

In Class 1A: Indianapolis Lutheran defeated Kouts 14-1.  Lutheran pitcher Ryan Redding went 7 innings K'ing 7 and only surrendering 2 hits.  Gage Meaney went 2-5 with 5 RBI on the way for Lutheran's first title.
