The 2026/2027 school year has started and there are bucket list items that items that all Indiana High School Baseball Coaches need to be aware of.
- Prepare for the IHSBCA State Coaches Clinic in January. This is an annual event and all coaches should plan on attending. The last day of the clinic will be the rules meeting that all head coaches are required to attend. If you do not attend this rules meeting, there will be limited opportunities before your season begins. The clinic is January 21-23 (Thursday night, all day Friday and Saturday morning). - Hall of Fame voting for the 2027 class is soon approaching
- The August 2026 Newsletter has been posted. Member coaches can see the newsletter in the membership section of the website. If you are not a member, please contact Brian Abbott about your membership status.

- Fall Open Facilities started Monday, August 31st. Below are the guidelines to follow:
Fall Practice Guidelines
• Aug 31st-Oct 17th
• 14 total practices
• No more than 3 in a week
• Two hours max per practice
• Hours stay with the player for the week
• You can long toss as part of conditioning (daily)
