About The IHSBCA
INDIANA HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL COACHES ASSOCIATIONOur Story
The IHSBCA is the professional organization in Indiana for high school baseball coaches and their staffs. Our member / coaches (along with the Executive Director and the IHSBCA Council) organize, promote, educate, and facilitate all of the high school based activities for our sport;
in addition:

we hold an annual state clinic where roughly 500 coaches attend;

we focus on education based athletics;
-
we have a North-South All-Star series every summer for the top 50 seniors;
-
we host an underclass Futures Games event as a part of our All-Star week;
-
we selected a player of the year for the state and all-state teams for each class;
-
we honor coaches, umpires, and media people of the year;

we provide $1,000,000 general liability coverage for our coaches (certificate available);

we work with the IIAAA and IHSAA to promote rules and policies to grow the sport of high school baseball in Indiana;

and we involve our coaches in numerous service / committee opportunities that are needed to allow the IHSBCA to operate at a high level.
According to our Bylaws, the purpose of this organization shall be:

To unify all baseball coaches in the State of Indiana.

To promote and foster high school baseball.

To foster a close relationship with the state office and other states, and National organizations.

To foster higher standards of professional proficiency and ethics.
