Each year the Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association holds its annual three-day state clinic and as a part of that clinic, there is a Hall of Fame banquet to honor our Hall of Fame inductees, our coaches of the year, and our victory club winners.

This year’s clinic will be held January 22 through January 24, 2026, at the Sheraton Keystone Indianapolis. The Hall of Fame banquet will be on January 23 at 7 PM. Tickets may be purchased through the following TICKET LINK and must be purchased in advance of the event. As a part of this year’s event, we are awarding our inaugural IHSBCA Assistant Coach of the Year award. Nominations were taken from the 16 districts in Indiana and one honoree was selected from the entire state to receive this award.

This year’s award winner is Steve Ford of Lewis Cass High School and he was nominated by Lewis Cass Hall of Fame Head Coach Greg Marschand. Here is a quote from Coach Marschand that truly encompasses Steve’s significance, “for 35 years, this amazing man has been my best friend, my right and left arm, a counselor, a mentor, and a man with a heart of gold that was always beside me coaching....not only each spring, but through open gyms, each and every summer; through good times and bad I could always count on Coach Ford to be there for whatever I needed.”

The IHSBCA looks forward to recognizing Coach Steve Ford and all the other honorees / inductees that make this event a special evening each January. Please plan on joining us and celebrating the accomplishments of our coaches and their families!
