If you notice on one of the rosters, there are two Indiana born and raised players on the team.  Colson Montgomery, a shortstop in the Chicago White Sox organization, from Southridge High School has made the team.  Also, last year's #3 draft pick Max Clark, an outfielder in the Detriot Tigers organization, from Franklin Community high school is on the team.

Clark was the 2023 Indiana Baseball Player of the Year and Montgomery was the 2021 Runner-up in the Player of the Year voting.

Montgomery is listed as the White Sox No. 1 prospect in the organization.  He made one of the biggest jumps in the MLB Pipelines' recently updated Top 100 Prospect list, rising from 37th to 18th.  Montgomery is the White Sox highest ranked prospect coming in as the No. 16th ranked prospect in baseball.

He has struggled a bit in Triple-A Charlotte this season, slashing .213/.329/.378.  However, he has shown good patience at the plate drawing 40 walks in 267 at-bats.  That is nearly a 15 percent walk rate which is paired with a 34 percent strikeout rate.  The good news is when Montgomery has put the ball in play he has shown a bit of power.  The 22 year old has 10 home runs and 32 RBI's on the season.

Clark, whom the Tigers selected No. 3 overall in the 2023 draft, is hitting .269 with five home runs, 43 walks and 52 strikeouts across 64 games at the Low-A level, posting a .753 OPS. He has 23 stolen bases in 25 attempts.

Max, 19, is the Tigers' No. 1 prospect, according to MLB Pipeline, and ranks No. 10 among MLB Pipeline's top 100 prospects in baseball. He also has a large audience on social media with 412,000 followers on Instagram, which he uses to post pictures of his life in baseball.

Both of these players (Montgomery and Clark) have bright futures in professional baseball.  But most importantly, the have represented Indiana well in their ventures into the game of baseball, whether playing for their respective high schools or hitting the road with the minor league travels.

Montgomery was able to win a state title while playing for the Raiders of Southridge and made the South All-Star team.  Clark, didn't have the team success at Franklin Community like Colson, but he also was a South All-Star.  Both were first round draft picks.
