Starting in 2010 the IHSBCA coaches voted on the Player of the Year and that has continued to this day.  High school coaches that are members of the Indiana Baseball Coaches Association (IHSBCA) get 1 vote and the senior player that receives the most votes becomes that year’s Indiana Player of the Year
